Dr. Jue Deng received his B.S. degree in Materials Chemistry from Sun Yat-sen University in 2013 and Ph.D. degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Fudan University in 2018. From 2018 to 2023, he joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a postdoctoral fellow. He has published 2 book chapters and more than 40 peer-reviewed papers in esteemed journals, such as Nature Materials, Nature Protocols, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, etc. He has also been recognized with various awards, including National and Shanghai Excellent Young Scientist (Overseas), MIT Kaufman Teaching Certificate, Dow Sustainable Innovation Award, etc. He has applied for 8 Chinese patents and 2 US patents.
